Warren W. Howlett

Dec. 17, of Wakefield Massachusetts, husband of the late Mildred E. (Wolger). Father of John A. and his wife Susan of North Andover and their children, Timothy, Michael and Emily Howlett, and Anne E. Ferrigno of Henniker, NH and her children, Sean and Justin Ferrigno, longtime companion of Patricia Kelleher of Wakefield, brother of Richard Howlett and his wife Patricia of Wilmington, Edie Spicer of Topsfield, Marion Maxwell of Acton, Edna Dodge and her husband Robert of Woburn and the late George Howlett, Jr., Walter A. and Ruth Howlett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, corner of Main and Bryant Sts., Wakefield, Sat. at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., WAKEFIELD, on Fri. from 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant St., Wakefield, MA 01880

 

Grace I. Howlett

Grace I. Howlett, 84, formerly of Malden, died March 22 at the Hillside Health Center Nursing Home in Providence, R.I. She was the wife of the late George H. Howlett Jr. Born in Malden, Mrs. Howlett was the daughter of the late Howard F. and Catherine (Fisher) Fowler.  She had lived in Rhode Island for the past year moving from Malden due to failing health. She was a life long citizen of Malden attending and graduating from the Malden Public School System. Grace worked for many years at Nelson’s Bakery in Maplewood Square before starting a small candle making business.  She is survived by two sons, George H. Howlett of Ivoryton, Conn. and Donald A. Howlett of Rockland Maine; one daughter, Georleen H. Popoloski of North Kingstown, R.I.; one sister, Harriet Talbot of Malden; and seven grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by the Hill Funeral Home of East Greenwich, R.I.

Robert E. Howlett

84 of Topsfield, Aug. 31, husband of Mary E. (Kiley) Howlett, father & father-in-law of Kevin R. and Dale Howlett of Stratham, NH, grandfather of Brian and Christopher Howlett, brother of the late Dorothy D. Howlett. His Funeral will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62), DANVERS, Thursday followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, Topsfield at 10 A.M. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 to 6 P.M. Elizabeth F. Dougherty

NORTH ADAMS -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Elizabeth Frances "Betty" (Mahoney) Dougherty, 66, of 122 Notch Road, was celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 30, 11 a.m., in St. Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Michael Twardzik, pastor of St. Francis, Notre Dame and Our Lady of Mercy churches officiating. The acolyte was Joan Vincent. The pall was unfolded by Shaun Dougherty and Daniel Dougherty, sons. The crucifix and family angel were placed on the pall by Jane Marie Lamarre, daughter. The ministers of the word were Sharron Ward, niece, and Diane Maloney, longtime friend. The offertory giftbearers were Betti Dougherty, sister-in-law; Beth Dougherty, niece; David Lamarre, son-in-law; and Sheila Dougherty, daughter-in-law. The eucharistic ministers were Jack Brooks and Joyce Brooks. Jane Marie Lamarre, daughter, offered words of love and reflections. Jeff Dougherty, nephew, also offered words of love and reflection and read a eulogy written by Mrs. Dougherty's son, Daniel. The organist and soloist was Diane Maynard. Burial followed in Southview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Roy, Craig Tassone, Christopher Tassone, Thomas Ward, Richard Bush, Peter Lamarre, Jeff Dougherty and Tim Dougherty. Mrs. Dougherty died Oct. 27. The Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., was in charge of arrangements.
